Homemade Peach/Fruit Ice Cream! July 5, 2015

Hey guys!
I hope everyone is having a lovely day! This recipe is beloved by our family. It is Aunt Debbie’s homemade peach ice cream. At special occasions in the summer we always request this ice cream because it is to die for.
My sister had a family barbecue to celebrate Independence Day for the USA. In honor of this special occasion and our longing for this ice cream my sister made it. It was delicious!
As far as I know, there have never been other flavors of ice cream tried such as strawberry, because peach is so good. I don’t think our family wants to stray from the original recipe. That being said, I would not mind trying a new flavor just to see.
I hope you guys give this ice cream a try, it is fantastic!! Thanks for the recipe Auntie Deb, we love you!

Fruit Ice Cream

3 cups or more of crushed fruit (raspberries, strawberries, peaches etc.)
Mix crushed fruit with 1 cup of sugar and set aside while preparing remaining ingredients.
1 3oz pack of jello (same flavor as fruit) dissolved in 1 cup boiling water, cool to room temp. Before adding to rest of ingredients
3 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of lemon juice
1 tall can of evaporated milk
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 pt of whipping cream.
Mix all the ingredients and pour into the ice cream mixer, add milk to reach the fill line.
Turn on ice cream mixer and follow the instructions on adding ice and rock salt.
Mix until machine turns off. Freeze for a few hours.
Enjoy!
